Learning basic skills from proper grooming, use of equipment, proper groundwork, round pen, and saddle work. Participants will advance at their own pace learning to communicate properly with the horse on the ground and in the saddle. Riding skills will include using the reins to communicate with the hips, shoulder, neck, and head through clear calm and effective control. Advanced horsemanship training is offered based on personal progression to challenge the individual and develop calm and clear communication skills with the horse.
